WCHC Patient Appointment Terms and Conditions

Rescheduled or Cancelled Appointments

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. WCHC asks that you kindly call 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to reschedule or cancel as a courtesy to the other patients and our staff.

No-Show and Chronic Cancelled Appointments

WCHC is committed to providing exceptional care. Unfortunately, when one patient no-shows or repeatedly misses his/her appointment, it prevents another patient from being seen and is an inconvenience to our providers. After 3 no-show appointments, we will no longer make scheduled appointments for the patient. The patient will be asked to present to WCHC and check in with front office staff for same-day appointment availability. If no appointment is immediately available, the patient can have a seat in the waiting room in hopes that an appointment opens up or come back on a different day and try again. In order to avoid this type of scenario, we ask that you please call the health center 24 hours in advance if you do not intend to come to your appointment.

If you have repeated no-show appointments, your provider may choose to not refill your medications until you have been seen.
